Tatara Masamune Open Comb

“The Tatara T slots of the bottom plate guide the blade, and to receive the cap and engage with the handle, a hole is configured in the middle of the plate. Due to the geometry between the bottom plate and top cap, the blade bends and achieves a stiff and very precise blade angle. The Open Comb plate exposes the stubble to direct access of the blade, making it easier to cut thicker or longer hair. It also allows more lather to remain on the skin via the clever dented configuration. This comb is considered more aggressive and gives higher exposure between the blade and the skin. It is more suitable for removing longer beards and gives an even closer shave. Blade gap is: 0.73 mm.”
