Tatara Porcelain Shaving Bowl

“The traditional Portuguese process of porcelain shaping was used to manufacture the Shaving Bowl. Inspired by  Urushi lacquer bowls, Japanese hand-painted techniques were used, and for the final finishing the pieces were immersed in a glazed bath, resulting in a unique and elegant shine. While creating a soft and beautiful lather, the shaving bowl was designed to be held securely with one hand to refine the shaving ritual. The interior of the bowl contains small dotted protrusions to help you quickly build a rich thick lather, by whipping air into the soap.”
